Salad Sammich

Today’s “public exhibition” didn’t have much of a turnout, must have been the heavy rain. Nobody goes out on a rainy day. So since it was just us students the whole day turned into an impromptu pizza party and DS game session. We played a lot of 4-way Tetris and Mario Kart, it was fun :P Didn’t eat much in the way of healthy food today though XD Also, I have a loud and looping background music from the exhibition stuck in my head, I’ve been around it so long it’s stuck in my head :o

Now that university is almost over I feel a bit of anxiety about what the heck I’m going to be doing now. Both in the short term of organizing how to finalize things and also about planning for my future career :S Final marks, graduation, tying off loose ends.

I guess all this holiday relaxing between semesters has taken a toll on my already lax work ethic

Carrie has been on a baking spree lately. First he steam cooks his first meat pie, and it turned out pretty decent. I tried to make toffee and ended up with sticky goo instead. Then yesterday he cooks an apple pie. I try to recook the toffees and end up with icky sugerballs instead. Yes, failure is a good friend of mine :P And now just this morning he made corn, pea & bacon muffins. He told me it’s his way of feeling less lazy on the holidays XD

So yeah, mostly just been lazy and gaming. Phoenix Wright is awesome. Carrie handed me a piece of paper the other day and I could hear “Piece of paper added to the Court Record” in my head. What’s that? I should stop playing? OBJECTION! It’s an addictive game :P

Edit: Bah, it’s probably useless to advertise friend codes like that, if anyone wants to play against me in Animal Crossing, Mario, Pokemon, etc they can just ask me over email or msn…

I’m banking on the fact that my brother doesn’t visit my site often. If he does and sees this, then you get a brownie :P also, a whack in the head for ruining the surprise XD

My brother’s birthday was on the 15th, and he’s planning a party on the 21st (yeah, weird dates…) and for some reason I’ve gotten overly spend-happy :P You see, I saw a sale at Target that had DS games for $50 instead of the usual $70, which was awesome.

So later on I go to buy a present for my brother, and the shelves look a bit empty. I go and ask the guy if they’re still in stock, and he says yeah, which ones were you interested in? So I point out Metroid Prime Hunters and Animal Crossings, the two most promising on sale. When he brought them out I just couldn’t resist buying both

So anyway, I try em out (as any brother would) and they’re pretty awesome. Animal Crossings is so awesome, in fact, I got addicted and wanted to keep it for my own XD But I couldn’t deny my bro the zany prospect of two DS games. Metroid would have been fine, but no, I couldn’t deny him the glory that is Animal Crossings, so I went out to JB-HiFi and got another AC ($62, since Target’s sale being over by now). I spent a lot of time staring at all the games and wondering if I should get him a different game instead, especially since Lego Star Wars was already out. But as tempting as yet more new games was, I ended up getting AC.

Hopefully he’ll be addicted to Animal Crossings as much as I am right now :D

Also, because I’m THAT addicted, I snagged a USB wifi adapter from Myer at $40, which was pretty good since I’ve seen them for $60. After some fiddling I linked up with Firequill and visited her town. AWESOMENESS!

After finishing my last exam (barely >.>) I seem to have caught the lazyness bug. I’ve been meaning to update but I got so lazy

Letsee. Me and Carrie went on a bit of a spending spree. I bought myself a fancy DS Lite :D Me and him have been doing some fun wifi stuff. I finally made use of Carrie’s home wifi broadband to connect to Nintendo WFC the other day :P Had some crazy fun racing against DDStuff in Mario Kart, not to mention against complete strangers. Fun times.
